I bought my first drumset when I was 22, a cheap $150 no name kit I found on Craigslist. I soon bent the cymbals and busted both snare heads and finally upgraded to the pearl kit I play today. When I met my significant other, a retired professional drummer, my passion was rekindled and I applied myself like never before armed with guidance and inspiration. In 10 months I made more progress than I had in the previous 10 years, and I started reaching out looking for cool musicians to hang out and jam with. Then something really cool happened... I became the new drummer for SWAG.
